My College and career goals

College plans after High School

College plans:
Until my Junior year, I had no idea what I wanted to do after High school nor which direction I may go.
Since I was always a creative person, I started in my Freshman year with art classes at AHS and art courses during Summer break. Then I took Graphic Design I and loved to create posters, logos, brands, websites, etc. In my Junior year, I decided to learn more about Photography and took Commercial Photography as the next step in finding my career path. And so I realized where my passion lies and also started outside of school by taking photos wherever I was and whatever I did. Finally, I also choose to use my Senior Internship to get more experience and learn more about this fascinating kind of art.

I have applied to ACC Austin Community College and St. Edward’s University to begin a course in Studio Art, which includes digital media, design, art, and photography. I chose St. Edward’s University and will earn a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Career plans:
In addition, starting with my Senior Internship, I try to create my own brand and business as a photographer.
I work with my mother as a mobile photographer, took classes at Austin school of photography, and learn in workshops and projects with different photographers from Austin and around to expand my knowledge and find my own style.
